Clem Wohleb, 82, of Sealy, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019, at his home in Sealy. Clem was born on May 4, 1937, to parents, Clem and Ella Wohleb in Cameron, Texas.
Clem attended school in Texas City where he graduated. On Dec. 18, 1973, he married his love Elizabeth Rosniak in Sealy. For most of Clem’s career, he spent his days working in the steel manufacturing industry as a crane operator.
Clem Wohleb was known by many as, Mr. Clem, Mr. Sonny, Daddy, and Friend. He was and will always be remembered for his kind heart and teaching ways. Most conversations left me feeling like I was stepping out of a Hallmark card or Rockwell painting. He was a hero to many and had heroes such as John Wayne and cowboys. Clem is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Wohleb and parents Clem and Ella Wohleb. Clem leaves to cherish his memory his children, Debra (Raymond) Blalock of Lampasses, Sherry (Norman) Glover of Katy, Lisa (Kirk) Brast of Katy, Alpha Lillian (Benny) Campbell of Bertram, Patricia (Andy) Robinson of Carthage, Clement (Rene) Wohleb of Whitney, sister Ella Edinburgh of Texas City, and brothers, Reagan Wohleb of Sealy, and Nolan (Bobbie) Wohleb of Aeta Loma.
Visitation with the family was held on Saturday, Sept.7, 2019, at Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel located at 768 Fourth St., Sealy, Texas 77474. Funeral service followed the visitation with interment concluding the services at Sealy Cemetery.
