Chad Colbert Murray, 52, of Sealy, Texas, was born on August 17, 1963, and passed away on January 10, 2016, at Houston Methodist West Hospital, due to health issues he battled over the last three years.
Chad attended Jacinto City Elementary (Houston, TX), Galena Park Junior High (Galena Park, TX), and graduated from Sealy High School in 1981. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, kayaking, snorkeling, cooking and most anything outdoors. Chad ended his professional career employed by Dresser Industries, in Houston, TX. Chad was very proud of his children with his son, Kyle, being in the U.S. Air Force, and prior to her death, his daughter, Kristina, was planning on attending Blinn College/College Station to become a nurse. Chad was looking forward to the upcoming birth of his first grandchild, due in August.
Chad was preceded in death by his 18-year-old daughter, Kristina Murray. Surviving family members are his parents, Alfred and Barbara Murray; son, Kyle Murray and wife Julie of Manhattan, KS; sister Terri Middleton and husband Linn, brother Brad Murray and wife Lisa, all of Sealy, TX; as well as many nieces and nephews.
