On Jan. 31, the Austin County Sheriff’s Office honored Deputy Barbara Reinhardt with a retirement plaque to show its appreciation for her dedicated service to the department. Deputy Reinhardt began her career with the Austin County Sheriff’s Office as a jailer in 1991. In 1993, she was hired at the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, where she dedicated 14 years to law enforcement. After retiring from Fort Bend County, she then decided to return to Austin County, where she spent another 10 years devoted to her career as the Crime Victim’s Liaison.
‘Thank you for your service to the Austin County Sheriff’s Office and for the dedication to the position in which you held,’ Sheriff Jack Brandes said.
