Austin County 4-Hers demonstrate photography skills

Recently 16 Clover Kids and Austin County 4-Hers participated in the 2017 4-H Photography Contest.  The Texas 4-H Photography Contest encourages self-expression and allows youth to demonstrate skills learned in the area of photography, including the use of photographic equipment and process of photographs. In addition, the contest encourages 4-H members to use photography as a meaningful communication in their lives to share the message of 4-H. The following youth participated this year:

Clover Kids Division: Kaesee Brune, Katie Geistmann, Gregory Huebner, Elaina Shupak and Jake Wise

Junior Division: Lydia Huebner, Blake Makowsky and Skye Youngblood

Intermediate Division: Karlie Babylon, Coy Geistmann, Emily Spiess and Jack Wise

Senior Division: Haley Guerrero, Madison Makowsky, Emily Shupak and Michael Weyer

District competition will be held in Victoria, Texas on April 7th and 8th for junior and intermediate 4-H members. Senior 4-H members who advanced with their photos will compete this summer at Texas 4-H Roundup.
