2017-18 Selman Elementary registration begins in April

Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten Registration - Sealy Independent School District will hold PreK & Kindergarten Registration for the 2017-2018 school year at the Selman Elementary campus (1741 Highway 90W) at the dates and times indicated below:

Monday, April 10 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Tuesday, April 11 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Wednesday, April 12 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.

To register for kindergarten: The registration process, with proper documentation, will take only a few minutes of your time. Documents required in order to register a child for Kindergarten are: proof of residence (light bill, water bill, or lease agreement), child’s birth certificate, child’s social security card, immunization/shot record, and parent or guardian’s official identification. PLEASE BRING YOUR CHILD WITH YOU TO REGISTRATION. THANK YOU!!

 

To register for prekindergarten: The registration process, with proper documentation, will take only a few minutes of time. Documents required in order to register your child for Pre-Kindergarten are: proof of residence (light bill, water bill, or lease agreement), child’s birth certificate, child’s social security card, immunization/shot record, and parent or guardian’s official identification. Please feel free to contact the Selman Elementary office at (979) 885-6659, if you have any questions.

To qualify for the Pre-Kindergarten program a student must:

1)    be unable to speak or comprehend the English language, or

2)    be educationally disadvantaged, or

3)    be homeless, as defined by 42 U.S.C. Section 11302, or

4)    be the child of an active duty member of the armed forces of the United States, or be the child of a member of the armed forces who was injured or killed while on active duty, or

5)    be, or ever been, the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services following an adversary hearing.
