Faith Academy Lady Knights lay claim to first state championship

After a season plagued by injuries, the Lady Knights headed to San Antonio for the TAIAO State Championships. “Knowing we would be playing without one our senior offensive leaders, we knew we had to really pull together as a team and stay positive and focus on our game plan,” said Faith Academy Head Volleyball Coach Neil Hammack.

Sealy holds its own future with Friday’s game with LaMarque

Coming into the last week of the district season, the Sealy Tigers have their own destiny in their hands as they travel to LaMarque to take on the Cougars. “That is what we tell the boys is that we have to have another good week of practice because both of us are in the same boat,” said Sealy Head Football Coach Shane Mobley.
