BRENT MERRETT BURTON

Brent Merrett Burton, 51, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on December 11, 2022, after a life-long battle with many complex medical conditions, beginning with his diabetes diagnosis at age five. His family was told that he’d never live to see a teenage year. Obviously, they had never met a person like Brent before, as he exceeded numerous expectations through countless surgeries and diagnoses.

EVELYN ANN HRUZEK

We are very sad to announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother Evelyn Ann Hruzek of Sealy, Texas on December 8, 2022, at the age of 89. She was an amazing person who was an inspiration to all who knew her and loved her. Evelyn was born on July 2, 1933, in Hallettsville, Texas to Joe and Pauline Mozisek Janca. She married Raymond Robert Hruzek on February 23, 1954, at St. Mary’s in Hallettsville, Texas. She was an outstanding and dedicated mother who lovingly raised her five children. After the passing of her husband, Raymond; Evelyn forged ahead, centered by her strong work ethic and an unwavering faith in God. She is survived by the luckiest family in the world including Daughter- in-law Christine Hruzek of Eagle Lake, Janice Raska (Tim) of Wallis, Douglas Hruzek (Peggy) of Rosenberg, Richard Hruzek (Rita) of Wallis and Kristie Cruz (Bobby) of Bellville.

Otto Reichardt, Jr., of Cat Spring, TX, passed away on December 10, 2022, in Houston, TX. Otto was born in Cat Spring, on December 29, 1932, to parents Otto and Alice (Braesicke) Reichardt. He grew up in the Cat Spring area where he attended school. He then later graduated from Sealy High School in 1950.

FRANCISCO (FRANK) SOLIS

Francisco (Frank) Solis, age 70, was born July 3, 1952, in Colorado City, Texas to Mr. & Mrs. Guadalupe Solis. He was six months old when his parents moved to Sealy. Frank passed away on November 30, 2022 at home in Sealy, surrounded by his wife and family. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gloria Solis, sons: Steven Garza and Jacob Solis, grandsons: Jordan Garza, Jesse Solis and Gage Solis, step granddaughters: Haley Hegemeyer, and Amberlee Hegemeyer and great-granddaughters: Layla Garza and Lila Robles. He attended school in Sealy, then later got married. He was a welder most of his married life, but later became Brazos Valley AC/Heating Services shop manager. Several years later he retired.
