Sealy Police welcomed Police Cadet Hunter Crosby of Sealy to the team. Crosby was selected to attend the Gus George Law Enforcement Academy where he will achieve his Basic Peace Officer License later this year. Crosby will then begin an extensive six-month field training program with the agency before hitting the streets on his own.

More than 6,000 Austin County voters cast votes Tuesday, March 5 in the Primary Election with numbers being released by the Austin County Clerk’s office Tuesday evening.
For the unexpired term for Austin County District Clerk, Diane Day has won the Republican primary as she received 3,221 votes to Andrea Cardenas 1,701 votes.
For County Commissioner for Precinct 1, Greg Mikel won the Republican primary by receiving 790 votes to James Harrison’s 486 votes.
More than 2.900 Austin County voters cast early voting in the March 5 Primary Election with numbers being released by the Austin County Clerk’s office Tuesday evening.
For the unexpired term for Austin County District Clerk, Diane Day has received 1,590 votes to Andrea Cardenas 860 votes. Cardenas was appointed by Austin County commissioners to fill out the remaining term of the retiring Carrie Gregor.
