Betty Reinbeck, former mayor of Sealy, has been appointed to the newly created Public Private Partnership Advisory Commission.
Reinbeck was appointed to the commission, also known as the P3 Advisory Commission, by Gov. Rick Perry.
The commission includes 11 members, of whom four are state senators, four are state representatives and three are appointed by the governor.
Reinbeck, last year, was re-appointed to the Texas Facilities Commission, formerly known as the Texas Building and Procurement Commission. She was named chair of the commission in 2007. She is currently serving her second six-year term.
Reinbeck served as mayor of Sealy from 1986-2004, after serving on the Sealy City Council in 1985.
