The Wallis Fine Rides Autofest will celebrate its 11th anniversary this year and is set to take place Saturday, Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine.

The autofest will again be held at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church grounds in Wallis.

As an open car show, the show allows owners of all types of vehicles to enter and exhibit their rolling pride and joy.

There will be 16 classes with first, second and third place trophies awarded in each class, along with a number of specialty awards.

The autofest offers a great family-friendly, country atmosphere with plenty of music, food and beverages. The show has gained a reputation as one of the most enjoyable in the region.

Pre-registration is only $20; day-of-show registration is $25. All entrants pre-registering prior to Oct. 3 will also receive a free t-shirt.

Wallis Mayor Jerry Delso praised the hard work and dedication of the show’s planning committee.

“These volunteers give a lot of their time to make the Autofest what it is, and I, as mayor, truly appreciate what they do to make our community better,” Delso said.
